Kendriya Vidyalaya Kalimpong was established in 1985. The Vidyalaya was set up with a view to serving the purpose of catering quality education to the children of the mountainous region. The Vidyalaya is blessed with sylvan surrounding and scenic beauty with 4.292 Acres of land, the Vidyalaya has more than 400 students studying herein. The Vidyalaya is equipped with all the basic infrastructure. With the ardent effort of the teachers and the staff, the Vidyalaya has evolved as one of the favourite destinations of learning for the students of this area. Presently, the Vidyalaya has Science and Humanities Streams in Senior Secondary Classes. The Vidyalaya in the last 34 years, has curved out a distinct identity as one of the most sought institutions in the field of education.
